Young Scientists Encouragement Project, supports young aspiring researchers mainly with an aid of industry sector. This project aims to support new generation of young scientists who will lead the advancement of science and technology.

WHAT ARE LEAVE A NEST GRANTS?

 

Leave a Nest Grants are for all aspiring young researchers in science.  Everyone who is 40 and below can apply. 

 

Selection Criteria

Awardees must be a young researcher who can potentially contribute to advancement of science and technology to earth

 

Leave a Nest, originally founded by 15 aspiring young scientists, wants to support like-minded young scientists.  The name of our company came from the founder, Yukihiro Maru’s dream that many young researchers will leave the nest to be great scientists who will make many good changes in the society. Since 2001 when Leave a Nest was founded, we have continued to actively engage in human resource development.  

 

Leave a Nest Grants came from our dream to facilitate development of science and technology, raise next young generation of aspiring scientists. We do not specify areas of research or previous experiences / awards. What is necessary is whether having a strong passion for your own research. We sincerely wish that you will take advantage of this opportunity and become one of the pulling forces of advancement of science and technology.

 

Characteristics of Leave a Nest Grant

Leave a Nest Grant also has numbers of Special Awards, each one of those are awarded by companies who take parts in this project. 

 

<What’s for? >  

Leave a Nest Grant is for young researchers who will contribute to advancing science and technology.  We would like to support creativity of young scientists, thus no rules and conditions are set for all Leave a Nest Grants.

 

*There may be rules and conditions for some Special Awards.
